Arrived in Boston

We arrived in Boston this afternoon. The Yawkey Inn provides a nice place to stay for families when their kid is at Children's Hospital. It is a restored Victorian-style house a few blocks walk from the hospital. After getting settled, we took a walk down through Boston University to a walk/bike trail along the Charles River. There's a good view of downtown and MIT from there. On our way back we stopped at an Italian restaurant a few blocks from Fenway Park (Red Sox). Tomorrow we head over to the hospital around 7am. Elizabeth has an array of pre-op tests, inlcuding blood, chest x-ray, and a sedatded echocardiogram (ultrasound) of her heart. We'll also have a consultation with the surgeon.
