Lizzie has been eating good with no throwing up last night. She seems to be having a problem with some pain because she's doing some mild grunting. She's getting some morphine and mortin for that. Kristen is getting ready to feed her right now.
Lizzie is still relying on the pacemaker for her ventricular (lower heart) function. The doctors want to wait until the 8th day after surgery to determine if a permanent pacemaker is needed. It would require additional surgery to insert that on day 10.
Please pray that her natural heart pacing returns.

I am praying for her natural heart pace to return right now. The Lord is with each of you. Know that you are being lifted up in prayer regularly by all of us back here. I am glad to hear she is progressing even though the pacemaker is still in question. It is good news that she is improving. Will pray she can keep the food down and get rid of that pacemaker soon!
