still waiting

We are still waiting for Elizabeth to wake up more before they can extubate the breathing tube. She occasionally wakes up and is upset and uncomfortable, but then falls back to sleep. It is difficult to see her upset and not be able to help. We are hoping that she will wake up enough soon so that they can take her off the breathing tube. All the other tests show she is ready, she just needs to be much more awake before they remove it.
