Chest tubes are out!
The surgeon-fellow carefully pulled out her chest drainage tubes. She acted tough and didn't complain too much. She was given some painkiller to help. Now she's alert and enjoying her family visitors.
great news! We'll miss you all in worship tomorrow! We just got back from the Skyview night at the Rockies - they won! However, the rain started pouring as we were walking to our car...so we got home pretty soggy... fun for all though!
Elizabeth (Lizzie) was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect while in utero. She has "Tetralogy of Fallot" with a small right ventricle. God has been so faithful and she hasn't needed surgery for almost a year. But we've set up this blog to keep everyone posted on her status as we head to Boston for surgery on July 22nd.
So happy to hear about progress! God is good - He is holding you all in His hands.
ReplyDeleteWe love you all and continue to pray. Lizzie is amazing and you guys are too. The kids love to see the pictures of their cousin.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Lizzie is getting along better each day. Try to get some rest.....
